Water Marks
Hi! Today we will learn how to create certificate or diploma pattern. Illustrator have many tools to do this. I'll show you simplest.
Let's start from ...result we will get.
Create circle and go to "Object - Path - Add Anchor Points".
Repeat this step several times until you'll get something like this:
Now go to "Effect - Distort and Transform - Pucker and Bloat".
Dialog window will appear. Set value "10". You will get this:
Copy the circle and decrease the copy. Change color of the small circle. Align both objects.
Go to "Object - Blend - Blend Options". Dialog window will appear. Set "Spacing" to "Specified Steps" and set value "25".
Go to "Object - Blend - Make".
Our first object is ready. Let's create the second one.
Create oval, select it, take "Rotate tool". Press and hold "Alt" and click in the lowermost point of the oval. Window will appear.
Set "Angle" "360/35" (like I shown earlier) and press "Copy" button.
Now hold "Ctrl" and press "D" until you close the whole circle.
Take the "Star tool", click and set the following parameters:
Press "Ok".
Select your new object and go to "Effect - Distort and Transform - Pucker and Bloat". Let's transform the star.
Group and align last two objects.
Select them and go to "Object - Envelope Distort - Make with Warp".
Now you can set any shape and settings you like.
Here is the result.
